BIG BOX REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT

Review, in detail, the parameters of the Land Use Code (LUC), Tucson Code, Chapter 23, which pertain to the "Big Box" requirements. Review each pertinent section to incorporate knowledge and experience gained during the effective period of the referenced LUC.

Information shall also be obtained from qualified representatives of the business sector; private residents; members of germane government agencies and other agencies; and similar codes and regulations from other communities.

The review may result in amendments, additions, corrections, or deletions to the Land Use Code (LUC) and upon completion will be forwarded to the City of Tucson Planning Commission for review and public hearing. Upon completion of the review, the final document, with Commission recommendations, will be forwarded to the City of Tucson Mayor and Council.
